Similar to most other wargames from RAW, it is based on the board game of the same name, and is a very direct and literal translation. If one is familiar with the board game, White Death will likely provide many hours of challenge with competent AI and a multitude of gameplay options. Others, however, will probably find the game mechanics too tedious to grasp, even with the manual.
